Silk vs satin scrunchies: what's the difference?
Silk is a natural protein fiber; satin is a weave β and most "satin" scrunchies are actually polyester. Real mulberry silk is breathable, temperature-regulating, and naturally smooth, while polyester satin can trap heat and still create static. If a scrunchie doesn't say what its satin is made of, it's usually not silk. Ours is 100% mulberry silk, 40 Momme β the heavyweight grade.
